Getting started

Can I try a class?
Yes. Your first class is a free trial, so you can come along, see how you find it and meet the group before deciding whether to carry on.
How much do classes cost?
Classes are £6 each.
Do I need to be fit to join?
No. Classes are created especially for older adults and are designed with all fitness levels in mind. You can move at your own pace, without judgement or pressure.

Classes & fitness

Can I take part sitting down?
Yes. You can exercise seated, use a chair for support, or stand freely.
Is there any floor work?
No. There’s no floor work in any class, and every exercise can be adapted.
What if I have a health condition or limited mobility?
If you have a health condition or are new to exercise, please seek advice from a healthcare professional to ensure it is safe you to exercise.

Community & social

What is the atmosphere like?
Friendly and welcoming. Each session features a great mix of music from across the decades, and many people find the social side just as important as the physical benefits.
What happens if the class I want is full?
Some classes do fill up. Where that’s the case you’ll see a waiting list link on the locations page — join it and we’ll be in touch as soon as a space opens.
